Wayne R. Seegers

Wayne R. Seegers, 91, formerly of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, was born June 15, 1925 in Crown Point, Indiana, son of Ralph and Pauline Seegers. He departed this life on January 6, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He served in the Navy and was a WWII Veteran. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards and collecting stamps.

He is survived by his brother, Paul of Crown Point, Indiana; son, Lane A. Seegers and wife Tina of Ludington, Michigan; two daughters, Nancy Seegers of Day, Arkansas and Holly Burrough and husband James of Little Rock, Arkansas; one grandson, Brice Burrough and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joanne Seegers and brother, Norman Seegers.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 21 at 1 p.m. at Doty Family Funeral and Memorial Service, located at 903 Third Street, in Horseshoe Bend. Interment will be in Evening Shadows Memorial Park in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
