Wallace V. Doughty

Wallace V. Doughty, 78, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, December 6, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Lansing, Michigan, on September 24, 1942, son of the late Ralph and Loraine (Turpin) Doughty. Wallace spent his life as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was united in marriage to Helen Dickall in Pontiac, Michigan on June 18, 1993. During his working years, Wallace worked in truck repair. Wallace was a Mason and member of Tri County Antique Tractor Club. He loved working on old tractors and cars and loved helping people with their questions. Wallace was always around to help with anything he could and to carry on conversations with people. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Wallace is survived by his wife, Helen Doughty of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; son, Todd Cummings of Michigan; daughters, Pamela (Dale) Acton of Michigan, Melissa (Bob) Hilliard of Michigan, Trisha Cummings of Michigan and Michelle Cummings of Michigan; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Loraine Doughty.
