Thomas Williams

Thomas Avery Williams, 73, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away, Friday, August 4, 2023, at his home in Horseshoe Bend.

He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on April 16, 1950, son of Avery Eugene and Elmira (Riley) Williams. Tommy enjoyed golfing, fishing and was a very talented woodworker. He made the most beautiful doll houses. Tommy moved to Horseshoe Bend in 2009 and became part of the Men’s Golf League. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Tommy is survived by his son, Richard Williams of Baltimore, Maryland; sisters, Averina Kourlesis of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and Nora Robinson and husband Raymond of Little Rock, Arkansas; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Williams; parents; brother, Lewis Andrew Williams and sister, Loreta Hanson.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, August 9, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM at Doty Family Funeral & Memorial Service Chapel in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, with Bro. Tom Doty officiating.
