Ruth May Mitchell

Ruth May Mitchell, 93, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She was born in Decatur County, Iowa on May 2, 1928, daughter of the late Jay W. and Gertrude F. (Sutherlin) Sellers. Ruth spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was of the Assembly of God faith. Ruth moved to Horseshoe Bend in 1995 after spending 37 years in Crown Point, Indiana.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Donna J. Baggerly (Duke) of Demotte, Indiana, Judy A. Scanlon (Ted) of Kerrville, Texas and Sandy J. Sellers (Butch) of Culver, Indiana; sister, Esther Johnson of Colorado and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Randy L. Mitchell; parents; four brothers and one sister.
