Roxanne Slighton-Borgna

Roxanne Slighton-Borgna, 68 of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She was born on August 26, 1955, in San Diego, California, daughter of Kenneth Eugene and Shirley Ann (Smith) Slighton. During her working years, Roxanne was a small business owner and spent 15 years as a groundskeeper with the Tehachapi School District in Tehachapi, California. Roxanne enjoyed painting, cooking, cake decorating, and fishing.  She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with any chance she had. Roxanne had a heart for animals and loved her four-legged friends. 

Roxanne is survived by her daughters, DeAnn (Maurice) Singleton of California and Shirley (Kristoffer) Olson of Tennessee; Kenneth (Becky) Slighton of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and George (Tracy) Wright of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; sisters, Sheryl Slighton of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and Kandy Wright; grandchildren, Brianne (Christopher) Lara, Lauren Mendoza-Reyes, Wyatt Olson and Charlotte Olson all of California; one great grandson, Vincent and extended family members, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Slighton; stepfather, George Wright and many special four-legged friends.
