Richard Martin Wallace, 86, of Melbourne, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, May 29th, 2016 at EagleCrest Nursing and Rehab in Ash Flat, Arkansas. He was born in Eldorado, Illinois on December 27, 1929, a son of the late Faye (Dillback) and Harry Wallace, SR. Richard was united in marriage to the late Mary Jo Hubbard on March 26, 1952 in Pontiac, Michigan and from this union came four children. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. During his life, he served in the U.S. Army and worked 30 years at GMC Truck and Coach. After retirement, he kept busy with his carpentry, many hobbies and doing whatever needed to be done for his kids and grandkids. Richard was a member at Belview Baptist Church in Melbourne, Arkansas. He is survived by his four children, Carol Loveless and husband Neal of Brookland, Arkansas, Larry Wallace and wife Priscilla of Grand Blanc, Michigan, James Wallace and wife Patti of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Joann Shrable and husband Steven of Violet Hill, Arkansas; sister, Helen Maas of Washington, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Lovina (John) Young, Rebecca (Jason) Majerus, Nicole (Cody) Myers, Christopher Wallace, Richard Andrew Wallace, Mary Ann (Jerry Andrew) Campbell, Brittany Shrable and Stephanie (Brandon) Henry; 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Sr. and Faye Wallace; wife, Mary Jo Wallace and brothers, Harry Wallace Jr., Don Wallace and Bobbie Gene Wallace.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 beginning at 6:00 PM at Doty Family Funeral and Memorial Service Chapel with services to follow Wednesday, June 1, 2016 beginning at 10:00 AM with Bro. Tom Doty officiating.
Internment will be Wednesday, June 1, 2016 beginning at 2:30 PM at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke, Arkansas.
Arrangements entrusted to Doty Family Funeral and Memorial Service in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
