Raymond Frank Kipper, 72, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was born in Mount Ida, Wisconsin on September 18, 1945, son of the late Sylvester and Marjorie (Wilcox) Kipper. Raymond spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, and friend. He was united in marriage to Margaret “Margo” A. Smith on May 20, 1967 in Shopiere, Wisconsin. During his working years, Ray was a farmer and a machinist. He was a member of Horseshoe Bend United Methodist Church and The Loft. He loved farming and raising crops. Ray loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with his grand babies. He especially loved Christmas with his family. Ray’s hobbies included fishing, wood working and traveling.
Ray is survived by his wife, Margo Kipper of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; daughter, Melissa Bowman and husband Stephen of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin; son, Eric Kipper and wife Tracy of Racine, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Katheryn Margaret and husband Stevie, Trenton Kipper, Tyler Kipper, Troy Kipper and Jason Bowman and wife Kiren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Marina Abney, Linda Kitzenbul and Rhonda Stumph and brothers, Jerry Kipper and Joe Kipper.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Marjorie Kipper.
Memorial service will be Sunday, April 15, 2018 beginning at 2:00 PM at Doty Family Funeral & Memorial Service Chapel in Horseshoe Bend with Pastor Ken Anderson officiating.
