Paula Shearon Cordell

Paula Shearon Cordell, 73, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, August 29, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on May 6, 1948, daughter of the late Herbert Leigh and Paula Vivian (Gwinn) Bartels. Paula spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She loved movies of all kinds, reading and her cats. Paula worked as an executive secretary with IBM and with her husband in their construction business. She was a very good piano player and during her youth she sang in choir.

Paula is survived by her son, David Richard Cordell of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; daughter, Anissa Nicole Maino of Mississippi; grandchildre, Zach Maino and Molly Maino.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Cordell; son, Christopher Blair Maino; granddaughter, Hailey Marie Holland; parents; brother, Herbert Dean Bartels and sister, Daniell Carmen Bartels.
