Nicky "Nick" Steven Brown

Nicky “Nick” Steven Brown, 76 of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed from this walk of life on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at his home in Horseshoe Bend.

He was born on November 23, 1947, in Wichita, Kansas, to the late Kenneth Brown and Hyla (Jinx) Ogilvie. Nick served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Sandra F. Rork on November 23, 1985, in Versailles, Indiana. During his working years, Nick worked in real estate sales and was a golf pro in the 1970’s and early 1980’s. Nick enjoyed fishing, traveling, working in the yard and watching and playing golf. He was of the Methodist faith.

Nick is survived by his first wife, Nancy Moos and their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jason Brown (Dixie) of Sioux City, Iowa, Amy Hines of Sioux City, Iowa and Angie Peplinksi of Sioux City, Iowa, Savannah Albert, Tyler Brown, Trevor Hines, Conner Hines, Brittany Peplinski, Kaeley Peplinski, Zachary Peplinski, Lukus, Athena, Elana, Braxton and Bryson; his forever love and wife, Sandy Brown of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and their son, Jeremy Brown of Midland, Texas and sister, Kandy Hallet of Hastings, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
