Lynda K Knight

Lynda Kay Knight, 73, of Wiseman, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at her home in Wiseman. 

She was born in Batavia, Illinois, on December 10, 1949, daughter of the late Willis R. and Olive B. (Phillips) Barnes. During her working years, Lynda worked in sales with her last sales jobs being in furniture and condos. She was united in marriage to the late Jonathan Knight in Mountain Home, Arkansas, on August 9, 2018. Lynda loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed outings going to visit her friend, Dorothy. Lynda spent her life as a loving daughter, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and homemaker. 

Lynda is survived by her daughter, Erica Tate (Dennis); son, Justus (Sheryl); grandchildren, Jackson Muck (Braydee), Christina Tate-Fernendez (Fernando) Ariana, Brylen, Ezekiel, Ruby and Charlotte Tate; great grandchild, Axel Fernandez and special friend, Dorothy Dykhouse. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan Knight and parents, Willis and Olive Barnes. 

Graveside services will be Sunday, January 28, 2024, beginning at 1:00 PM at Evening Shadows Memorial Park in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
