Kevin John Ashford

Kevin John Ashford, 67, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, January 2, 2025, in Conway, Arkansas. 

He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on October 11, 1957, son of the late John Kenneth Ashford and Marion Wilma (Smith) Ashford. During his working years, Kevin worked as an auto engineer and teacher. He served our country in the United States Air Force. Kevin loved working on old cars, watching airplanes and drag racing. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. 

Kevin is survived by his significant other, Vesta Moore of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; sons, Steven John Ashford of Dayton, Ohio and Albert Jackson Ashford of Franklin, Arkansas; daughter, Heather Marie Navarrete of Dayton, Ohio; four grandchildren and brother, James William Ashford of Detroit, Michigan. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Fred Alexander Ashford and William “Bill” Robert Ashford. 

Services with military honors will be held at a later date.
