Joseph "Joe" John Kalinowski, Jr.

Joseph “Joe” John Kalinowski, Jr., 82, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019, at South Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation in Horseshoe Bend.

He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on April 5, 1937, son of the late Joseph John Kalinowski, Sr and Mary (Glinski) Kalinowski. Joe spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was united in marriage to Avis L. McMillan on July 2, 1983 in Fox Lake, Wisconsin. During his working years, Joe worked as a Tool Room Specialist at National Rivot in Waupun, Wisconsin. Joe was a member of the Horseshoe Bend United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing golf, sheepshead and deer hunting.

Joe is survived by his wife, Avis Kalinowski of Horseshoe Bend; sons, Kenneth Kalinowski, John Kalinowski and wife Heidi, Thomas Kalinowski and fiancé Mary and Donald Kalinowski and wife Heather all of Wisconsin; step-daughters, Brenda Grotelueschen and husband John and Bobbi Lipke Ely and husband Patrick all of Wisconsin; 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and great aunt, Dorothy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters.

Memorial services will be Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Horseshoe Bend United Methodist Church in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas beginning at 10:00 AM with Ron Helm officiating. There will be a meal following the service in the fellowship hall.
