John "Jay" William Campbell

John William (Jay) Campbell, 85, of Myron, Arkansas, passed away, Thursday, December 15th, 2016 at Crown Point Nursing and Rehab in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Jay was born in Myron, Arkansas on September 19, 1931, son of the late Grace (Tadlock) and John  Henry Campbell. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband and friend. Jay was united in marriage to Jenny Odelle Cisco on June 29, 1952 in Decatur, Michigan. During his working years he worked in construction on the pipe lines. Jay served our country in the United States Army and was a member of Myron Baptist Church and The Eagle's. 

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Odelle Campbell of the home; brother, John Henry Campbell Jr of Conway, Arkansas and sister-in-law, Helon Davis of Myron, Arkansas. 

Jay was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Grace Campbell; 6 brothers and 3 sisters. 

Visitation will be Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Myron Baptist Church beginning at 1:00 PM. Funeral services will follow beginning at 2:00 PM with Bro. Ernest Allen officiating. Interment will be in Godwin Cemetery in Myron, Arkansas following funeral services. 

Pallbearers include: Glen Bailey, Frankie Sharp, Les Lambert, Gus Sharp, Cletus Bailey and Charles Cooper. 

Honorary Pallbearers include: Verlon Smith and Bill Ray
