Henry Orville Houck, 89, of Horseshoe Bend, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in the home. He was born on March 22, 1931, to Calvin Houck and Mary Eperson.
Henry served his country in the United States Army. During his working years, Henry spent 20 years in boat sales. He was a member of the Horseshoe Bend Assembly of God. He enjoyed selling, racehorses, taking the grandkids to the ocean, and going to church; he was there if the doors were open.
Henry married Alice Patricia McMann in Rawlins, Wyoming on June 20, 1958.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Houck and Mary Eperson Houck; brothers, Denny Houck and Joe Houck; and sister, Elwanda Almond.
He is survived by sons, Joe Henry Houck of Farmersville, Texas, Leo Edwin Houck of Princeton, Texas, Denny Howard Houck of Plano, Texas, and James Allen Houck of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; brothers, Leo Houck of Atlanta, Georgia and Bill Houck of Durand, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
In honor of Henry, there will be a memorial service on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Assembly of God in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas with Pastor Calvin Hardin officiating.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions, social distancing will be practiced, and face masks are required.
