Euna Mae Herron, 94, of Franklin, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in Melbourne, Arkansas. Born on November 15, 1929, in Zion, Arkansas, Euna Mae was the eldest daughter of six children to William Homer and Audie Marie (Felton) Arnold. She lived a life filled with love, faith, and dedication to her family and friends.
Throughout her life, Euna Mae exemplified the virtues of kindness, compassion, and commitment. She spent her working years as a homemaker and a dedicated cook at Violet Hill School, where her warmth and welcoming spirit touched countless students and staff. A faithful member of the Horseshoe Bend Assembly of God Church. Euna Mae’s life was grounded in her unwavering faith.
She is survived by her two sons, Frank Herron and wife Susie of Franklin, Arkansas, and Roy Herron and wife Laverne of Blytheville, Arkansas. She also leaves behind her brother, Larry Arnold and wife Sandra of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and her sister, Alma Marie Bailey of Melbourne, Arkansas. Her three grandchildren: Marci Avey and husband Randy, Amanda Sims and husband David, and Alan Herron. She was a proud great-grandmother to Haley, Bailey, and Brayden Roddy; Wyatt and Easton Smith; and Dustin and Layne Sims, as well as a great-great-grandmother to Aubrey and Declan Dew, and Cooper Roddy.
Euna Mae was preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy Herron, and her second husband, Charles Bullard; her parents, William Homer and Audie Marie (Felton) Arnold; two brothers, William Wesley Arnold and James Lon Arnold; a sister, Florence Christine Bussard; and her granddaughter, Joanna Marie Herron.
A service honoring Euna Mae’s life and faith will be held at Doty Family Funeral & Memorial Service Chapel in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, on Monday, November 11, 2024. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed immediately by the service at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at Roberts Cemetery in Franklin, Arkansas, following the service.
