Etta Corrine (Carr) Smallwood, 76, of Violet Hill, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, December 21, 2020 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born in Houston, Texas on January 31, 1944 to William Lee Carr, Sr. and Christine (Hill) Carr.

Etta worked as a homemaker.  She was a country lady with a country heart, and she loved animals.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dean Smallwood; son, Jerry Lynn Smallwood; parents, William Lee Carr, Sr. and Christine (Hill) Carr; brothers, Arnel Warren Carr and William Lee Carr, Jr.; and great grandchildren, Tracy Trey Johnson, Emmett Jayce Johnson and Slade Xander Dixon.

She is survived by son, Billy Leon Smallwood and wife Debra; daughter, Barbara Ann Small and husband TJ; ex-daughter in law, Pamela Harzman; grandchildren, Travis Leo Smallwood, Stacy Nicole Cook, Shelby Lynn Dixon and husband Alan, Melanie Renae Smallwood, Andrew Cook, Billy Joseph Smallwood, Elizabeth Lester, Alyssa Smallwood, Jacob Smallwood and Nicholas Smallwood; great grandchildren, Cameron James Johnson, Isabell Grace Dixon, Alxavier Lewis, Alxekiel Lewis, Elizabeth Cook, Lilanna Cook, Isabella Cook, Korah Greathouse, and Tallulah Lester; sisters, Eva Corrigan, Lena McMurtray, Patricia Harcas, Kathy Bell and husband Lewis; and a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers include: Billy Leon Smallwood, Billy Joseph Smallwood, Alan Dixon and TJ Small

A Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Doty Family and Memorial Service Chapel in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas with Debra Smallwood officiating.

Burial will follow the service at New Liberty Cemetery in Violet Hill, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Doty Family Funeral and Memorial Service to help with funeral expenses.

We are complying with the COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines provided by the Arkansas Health Department in limiting indoor attendance to 60 people.  All attendees must wear face coverings upon entering the facility.
