Eleanor Louise Pickett

Eleanor Louise Pickett, 81, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away Monday, July 28th, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, AR. She was born in Dallas, Texas on August 13, 1932, a daughter of the late Sallie Estella (Hill) and Rankin Lloyd Smith. Eleanor was united in marriage to late Russell Allen Picket on August 29, 1950 in Dallas Texas. She spent her working years as an auditor for the Internal Revenue Service. Eleanor is survived by her three children; two sons, Chris Pickett of Mechanicsville, Virginia, and David Pickett of Little Rock, Arkansas, and one daughter, Pam Bernardo of Moscow, Idaho; two sisters, Sally McCarver of Memphis, Tennessee and Betty Evans of Conroe, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 6 great granchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Michael Lloyd Pickett. A memorial service will be held on August 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
