Delynne Odom Duerkes

Delynne Odom Duerkes, 63, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at her home in Horseshoe Bend.

She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on November 16, 1957, daughter of Alfred B. and Shurley (Kovach) Odom. Delynne was employed by Ozarka College in the Admissions and Financial Aid departments. She was a pet lover and enjoyed animals. Delynne loved to read and spend time with her grandson. She was united in marriage to Raymond Duerkes on August 16, 1989, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Delynne is survived by her husband, Raymond Duerkes of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; son, John Paul Williams of Paragould, Arkansas; parents, Alfred and Shurley Odom of Memphis, Tennessee; grandson, Conner Williams of Memphis, Tennessee and brothers, Alfred Odom, III (Paula) of Memphis, Tennessee, Kevin Odom (Vicki) of Jackson, Tennessee and Matthew Odom (Beth) of Memphis, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Aaron Williams.
