Carol Ann Durham, 84, of Oxford, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, November 10, 2020 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 11, 1935, daughter of the late James and Elsie Corcoran. Carol spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. During her working years, Carol taught Home Economics MATC (Milwaukee Area Technical College) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was united in marriage to the late James Harold Durham on August 4, 1956 at St. John’s Cathedral in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Carol was of the Catholic Faith. She loved cooking and sewing. Carol was a member of the Country Quilters Quilt Guild, where she made many incredible and lifelong friends in Arkansas.

Carol is survived by her grandson, Daniel Schubring, whom she nicknamed My Dumpling and her two loving sisters, Gloria Schoknecht of West Allis, Wisconsin and Violet Zingler of Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Durham; daughters, Deanna Maria Durham and Dawn Elizabeth Durham and her parents, James and Elsie La Clish.

No services are planned at this time. A memorial mass at Saint Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas will be arranged at a later date.
