Bobby Randel Taylor, age 80, departed this life on Friday, January 8, 2021, at his home in Martin.  He was born on July 20, 1940 in Wingo, Kentucky to Alfred and Dorothy Burge Taylor.

During his working years Bobby was a carpenter and helped build houses around the Martin area.  Some of those years he worked at the University of Tennessee at Martin. He served our country in the Army.

Bobby loved Kentucky basketball and was a devoted fan.  He has many Kentucky souvenirs around his house.  He also enjoyed old cars.  

He and Beverly Bell were married on July 14, 1968 and they enjoyed over 52 years of marriage. He was a member of Cypress Creek Baptist Church for over 50 years and served as a deacon, treasurer, and Sunday School teacher.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Vernon and Eugene Taylor. 

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Bell Taylor of Martin; his daughter, Kelly (Monte) Belew of Fairview, Tennessee; several cousins, nieces, and a nephew; and a host of extended family and friends.

A Graveside Service will be Monday, January 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Eastside Cemetery in Martin, Tennessee. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cypress Creek Baptist Church in Martin, Tennessee.
