Ardith Maxine Huckleberry

Ardith Maxine Huckleberry, 94, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, formerly of Newton, Iowa, and Clearwater, Florida, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at home in Horseshoe Bend.

She was born in Clear Creek Township, Iowa, on January 8, 1928, daughter of the late James Freeman and Blanche Charlotte (Teed) Skaggs. Ardith spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and friend. She was united in marriage to the late Harold Huckleberry on April 12, 1950, in Nashua, Iowa in the Little Brown Church. During her working years, she owned her own ceramics shop. Ardith was very artistic and made beautiful ceramic pieces.

Ardith is survived by her stepdaughter, Marge Kobylasz; sister, Connie Woodruff of Baxter, Iowa and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Huckleberry; brother, Joy Lee (Bud) Skaggs and sisters, Shirley Ann Morris, Betty Lou VanBaale and Laura Geraldine (Gerry) Etter.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
